One of the UK's biggest music awards ceremony's comes to Coventry

The UK's most prestigious celebrations of black music and culture is being held in Coventry tonight.

The MOBO Awards will be held at the Coventry Building Society Arena this evening, with hosts singer and actress Leigh-Anne Pinnock and comedian and presenter Munya Chawawa.

Powerhous Stefflon Don will be making her eagerly-awaited return to the MOBO stage, teaming up with Ms Banks for their first televised performance together.

Other award nominees who'll be performing on the night include Ghetts, Bree Runway, Coventry rapper Pa Salieu, Tems, and NSG.

Rap maverick Dave leads the way for the 2021 MOBO awards, with five nominations: Best Male Act, Best Hip Hop Act, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Video of the Year.

The show will be livestreamed on Youtube from 8pm with a special show airing on the 8th December on BBC One.
