Emergency services called to serious crash in Leamington

Emergency services, including ambulances and police cars, have been dealing with a serious collision in Leamington.

The incident took place in the early hours of Wednesday morning (February 2nd), and involved a motorist and a pedestrian.

An update from Warwickshire Police said that the crash happened on Europa Way between the McDonalds and Morrisons roundabouts in Leamington at around 7 a.m.

As a result of the incident, the road - as well as a part of the Old Warwick Road in the town have been shut to the public.

Police are also asking pedestrians and motorists alike to avoid the area as they carry out an investigation how the incident could have happened.
