Man seriously injured following Warwick stabbing

A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed multiple times in Warwick.

Police were called just before midnight last night to Willow Drive in the town.

Four people - including a 19-year-old woman - have been arrested in connection with the incident. All suspects remain in police custody.

Anyone with information is being asked to come forward.

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: "Report made at 23.55 yesterday. Report of a disturbance at a property in Willow Drive. Damage caused to the property and the victim - a man in his 40s - suffered several stab wounds. Injuries not thought to be life threatening at this time.

"A 19-year-old woman from Coventry was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault.

"Two more were arrested after officers stopped a car in Banbury Road, Warwick. A 28-year-old man from Coventry was arrested on suspicion of assault. A 33-year-old man from the Stratford area was arrested on suspicion of assault.

"A few hours later a 39-year-old man from Coventry was arrested in Hinckley Road, Coventry on suspicion of affray. Officers also seized wraps of what they believe to be heroine during this arrest.

"All suspects still in custody. Anyone with information or witnesses can call 101 quoting incident 479 of 8 September 2021. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
