Firefighters tackle 'severe' flat blaze in Nuneaton

Firefighters have been tackling what's been described as a 'severe' flat fire in Nuneaton.

Crews were called to an address on Dugdale Street yesterday evening.

The blaze has now been extinguished.

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed no one has been injured.

A Warwickshire Fire spokesperson said: "Crews from Nuneaton and Bedworth have attended a severe flat fire on Dugdale Street in Nuneaton following 999 calls at 19:37 this evening.

"Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus have extinguished the fire using hose reels. No injuries have been reported."
