Two 12-year-olds arrested on suspicion of murder in Wolverhampton

Detectives investigating the murder of 19-year-old Shawn Seesahai in Wolverhampton have made two arrests.

Shawn died after being stabbed on open land off Laburnum Road, East Park just before 8.30pm on Monday.

Two 12-year-old boys were arrested last night from their home addresses on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.

Police patrols have been increased in the area to reassure the community.

DCI Dave Sanders said: "Our thoughts remain with Shawn's family, who have been fully updated with this latest development.

“Our investigation is moving at pace and we continue to encourage anyone with information to contact us.”
