It's been announced Pinewood Studios will be closing the TV production department in 2025.

The Buckinghamshire-based studios has hosted a variety of television series and films, with Ru Paul's Drag Race UK, Taskmaster and James Bond among their credits.

In a statement released yesterday, the company say they're closing their TV department, which 'services the light entertainment TV market'.

The closure next year isn't planned to affect any shows already booked for 2024 and 2025, or any productions at at other Pinewood sites.

A consultation process has been started with the company's colleagues who are affected.

Pinewood Studios say they're 'very proud' of the TV team's work over the years.
