Phil Foden has left England's Euro 2024 camp to return home for a "pressing family matter".

It's believed he's returning home for the birth of his third child.

The Manchester City forward played in last night's goalless draw with Slovenia, as Gareth Southgate's side progressed to the last-16 as group winners.

He's started all three of England's matches at the tournament so far.

An FA spokesperson confirmed that the Manchester City star had "temporarily left the England camp and returned to the UK for a pressing family matter".

The news comes as England captain Harry Kane has called on fans to "keep supporting us" at Euro 2024 and feels their "best is yet to come" in the knockout stages.

Some supporters weren't happy with the performance or the manager after the game.
