Man fighting for life after two-vehicle crash in Rochdale

Greater Manchester Police are urging any witnesses to come forward

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a crash involving two cars that were travelling in opposite directions in Rochdale.

At around 7.45pm on Sunday 3 March 2024, police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Wildhouse Lane in Milnrow.

It's believed a Nissan Micra travelling northbound collided with a BMW One Series heading in the opposite direction.

The driver and passenger from the BMW sustained minor injuries whereas a man who was the driver of the Nissan remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.

GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
