Man dies after falling from block of flats in Manchester

A man has died after falling from a tower block of flats in the Stretford area of Manchester.

Emergency services were called to Chapel Lane at around 9pm last night (Saturday 26th August).

They'd received reports of a man with serious injuries, but when they arrived at the scene a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.

A cordon's been in place as enquiries into what happened continue.

Emergency services were called to Chapel Lane in Stretford at around 9pm tonight (26/8/23) after a man was found with serious injuries after it is believed he fell from a block of flats.

Officers are investigating after the man, believed to be in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is not currently believed that anyone else is involved in the incident and there is currently a scene and police officers at the location.

The investigation is ongoing.
