Man charged with drugs and child exploitation offences in Aberdeenshire and London

The 21-year-old is due in court on Monday

A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences and child exploitation in Aberdeenshire and London.

Following a joint County Lines investigation by detectives from the North East, The Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police County Lines Task Force, a warrant was executed at an address in the Bromley Road area of London on Thursday 20th June.

He is due to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Monday, 24 June.

Detective Sergeant Scott McKay, North East Interventions, said:

“This investigation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.”
