Man charged with attempted murder over stabbing of Sheffield teen

A man's been charged with attempted murder after the stabbing of a teenage boy in Sheffield this week.

The youngster was found with serious injuries close to the Town Hall at Norfolk Street in the city centre on Tuesday (12th September) afternoon.

He remains in hospital where his condition's described as serious but not life threatening.

A man aged 48 who was arrested on Friday has been charged and is due to appear at magistrates in Sheffield on Monday (18th September) in connection with the incident.
