Police in West Yorkshire have launched an appeal to find three men in connection with the raping of a 14-year-old girl in Leeds.

Officers were called to a ginnel just off Chatsworth Road in the Harehills area of Leeds in the early hours of Wednesday morning (November 6th).

The incident took place close to the junction with Sandhurst Avenue, with the teenager reporting the assault shortly afterwards.

Investigations into the assault are now ongoing as they officers from the Safeguarding Unit of West Yorkshire Police are offering the victim support.

Three CCTV images of the men they wish to speak to have been released by officers as part of their investigation.

The force said: "While it is appreciated that the images of the three suspects are low quality, it is hoped someone may recognise the males as a group who were in the area around the time."

Those who may recognised any of the three men involved in the assault are being urged to get in touch as soon as possible with police.

Anyone who may have any information that could lead to their arrest can get in touch with the force by calling 101 and quoting incident reference number 13240604436.
