Harrogate woman in hospital after falling from flat window

North Yorkshire Police have launched an investigation after a woman fell out of a window from her flat overnight in Harrogate.

Officers were first called to the scene by the ambulance service on Sunday morning (September 1st) to reports of a woman with serious injuries on Montpellier Parade.

The force responded to the incident at 6:15am and found that a woman in her 20s had suffered serious injuries after reportedly falling from a window of a nearby flat.

Emergency services gave immediate medical treatment to the woman before taking her to hospital.

Currently, doctors have said that the victim is in a "serious" condition following the incident as officers launched their investigation.

Enquiries have been ongoing as the facts of the incident are uncovered; the force currently remain at the scene.

The force said: "The full circumstances of the incident are being investigated."

North Yorkshire Police have also thanked local residents in the area for their co-operation as the investigation gets underway.
