Farhad Moshiri agrees to sell Everton

Miami-based investment fund 777 Partners has signed an agreement with Farhad Moshiri to acquire his full stake in Everton Football Club.

Farhad Moshiri has agreed to sell his 94.1 percent stake in Everton Football Club to Miami based investment fund 777 Partners.

Morshiri first bought shares in the club in 2016 and has been a majority shareholder since 2018.

The Toffee's new investors have an estimated newt worth of over $12billion and already own several clubs in Europe including Genoa, Standard Liège and Hertha Berli.

In a statement the Morshiri said: "From our team at the training ground, our commercial and support teams through to matchday employees, I extend my sincerest gratitude.

“And to our fans, the last few years have been challenging but you have supported the Club through it all and consistently been our twelfth man. You are the best fans and deserve success.”.
