A car has ploughed into a group of people understood to have been celebrating a bonfire in Openshaw last night (05 November).

It happened at around 20:30GMT, and the car is believed to have driven off following the incident on Bob Massey Close.

Six people were taken to hospital with serious injuries

Police arrested a man on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, possession with intent to supply, and failing to stop.
