Hundreds of people have gathered for a vigil for Sara Sharif outside her home in Woking.

The 10 year old's body was found in August last year after suffering horrific abuse.

Sara's father, Urfan Sharif and stepmother Beinash Batool were found guilty of her murder last week. Her uncle Faisal Malik was convicted of causing or allowing her death.

The MP for Woking Will Forster was among those who attended the vigil on Sunday (15 December).

"Hundreds of people attended a very moving vigil in memory of Sara Sharif this evening - so many are heartbroken by her loss."

A number of tributes have been laid outside the property on Hammond Road, including candles and bouquets of flowers.

Urfan Sharif, Beinash Batool and Faisal Malik are due to be sentenced on Tuesday (17 December).
