Billy Gilmour is out of Scotland's crucial Euro 2020 clash with Croatia after testing positive for coronavirus.

The 20-year old will now self-isolate for ten days.

The midfielder was voted Star of the Match against England at Wembley on Friday.

He received huge praise as the national side held the Auld Enemy to a 0-0 draw.

However, he will have to watch on with Scotland needing a win against Croatia on Tuesday.

The Scottish FA said: "Having liaised with Public Health England since the positive test was recorded, Billy will now self-isolate for 10 days and therefore miss tomorrow’s UEFA EURO 2020 Group D match against Croatia at Hampden".
