11 year old boy dies from injuries suffered in Chester crash

Emergency services were called to the entrance by Kings School on Tuesday

An 11 year old boy has died from injuries he suffered in a crash in Chester.

He was hit by a car close to Kings School on Tuesday 12th November - and sadly passed away in hospital this morning (Saturday 16th November).

A 28 year old woman from Wrexham who was driving the vehicle involved wasn't hurt.

No arrests have been made so far,

As part of ongoing enquiries, officers from Cheshire Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information or CCTV footage to come forward.

Sergeant Russell Sime from Cheshire Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit said:

"We understand that this was distressing incident, and our thoughts remain with the victim’s family at this difficult time.

"As part of our ongoing enquiries we are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has any information about it, to get in touch.

"The same goes for anyone who may have captured the incident on dashcam or on CCTV."
