St Mirren boss Alex Rae has made his first signing since taking over the Paisley outfit after landing midfielder Rocco Quinn on a deal until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old midfielder joins the Championship strugglers after being released by top-flight Ross County.
The former Celtic youngster has also had spells with Kilmarnock, St Johnstone, Livingston and Queen of the South before joining the Staggies in 2011.
Quinn - a former Scotland Under-21 cap - made 123 appearances for the Dingwall side, scoring 12 goals in the process.
He will now go straight into the Buddies squad for Saturday's Championship clash with Raith Rovers.
Quinn said: "It all happened pretty quick. I got a phone call from my agent a couple of days ago saying St Mirren were interested and I'm here today signing.
"Speaking to the manager here and his plans for the club, the way he wants to take the club forward, I think that was a big factor in it. There were a few things he said that made me quite interested and excited about coming here.
"He seems to have a good plan in place and there are a lot of good players at this club so I'm just happy to be here and looking forward to getting started.
"I'll bring experience and I'll be giving nothing less than 100% for this club and these fans, I'll be looking to bring a lot to the table."
