McMillan Sacked By Partick

Partick Thistle have sacked full-back Jordan McMillan following an internal probe. The club had announced on January 7 that the former Rangers and Dunfermline player was suspended on full pay pending the outcome of an investigation. The 26-year-old has not played for the club since their 4-0 win at Inverness on December 13. Following Thistle's victory over Dundee United on Saturday, the club said in a statement: Following a thorough internal investigation, Partick Thistle Football Club yesterday took the decision to terminate the contract of Jordan McMillan with immediate effect.The club, including all of its representatives and employees, will be making no further comment and now consider the matter closed.'' Thistle have refused to give any details on the circumstances of the player's suspension and subsequent departure.
