Motherwell manager Mark McGhee will formulate a plan to improve the club during talks with majority shareholder Les Hutchison in Barbados next week.
McGhee has secured four points from his first three games back in charge after replacing the sacked Ian Baraclough.
The Scotland assistant coach will fly to Hutchison's base during the international break, after Motherwell's Ladbrokes Premiership clash with Inverness at Fir Park on Saturday.
Hutchison updated fans on progress at the club ahead of the club's 130th anniversary next year.
He said: "The new 2015/16 season started brightly with the win at Inverness, which I was lucky enough to attend, but over a number of weeks it became clear things had to change if we were to enjoy this special season."
He added: "I look forward to long and detailed discussions with Mark next week when he visits me at home.
"We will be reviewing all aspects of the football side to ensure we have clear strategies and plans to achieve our football objectives.
"I am very encouraged by recent performances, but Mark and I know further work is required to build consistency."
Hutchison's progress report included details of the appointment of a full-time sports science coach plus investments and improvements in the scouting department, pitch, commercial team and floodlights, along with safety work in the Phil O'Donnell Stand.
The Lanarkshire-born businessman stated that the club had recently paid around half of the #380,000 short-term loan he provided earlier this year.
He had previously given a ÂŁ650,000 interest-free loan when he took over in January, a sum which is due to be paid back over five years ahead of a planned transition to power to the Well Society fans group.
Hutchison added: "The club is making good progress toward our objectives. You, the fans, can do your bit by joining the Well Society for as little as ÂŁ2.50 per week to make your dream a reality."
