Motherwell midfielder Chris Cadden has signed a two-year contract extension.
The 19-year-old, who first joined the club in 2006, has become a first-team regular over the past two months, taking his total appearances to 18.
Cadden told the club's website: "I'm delighted to sign my contract and get my future sorted out.
"It's been brilliant these last few months. The gaffer (Mark McGhee) has been unbelievable for me and I want to try and learn as much as I can from him and Stephen Robinson.
"My own personal aim is to retain my place in the first-team and hopefully keep learning and improving as a player. I'll work as hard as I can for the team, and hopefully we'll have a good end to the season.''
McGhee added: "Chris has been outstanding over these last few months. Everyone at the club is delighted he has committed to us, as we know there was interest from elsewhere, including England.
"However, the lad is sensible and comes from a good football family who recognise the importance of his development, and that's what Motherwell FC is all about.''
