St Mirren have clinched the loan signing of Aberdeen midfielder Craig Storie as they look to breath fresh life into their relegation fight.
The former Scotland Under-21 midfielder has joined until the end of the season.
The Ladbrokes Championship strugglers are currently seven points adrift at the bottom of the table and in desperate need of reinforcements for the second half of the campaign.
Buddies boss Jack Ross has already lost Rangers pair Tom Walsh and Ryan Hardie - now at Raith - after their loan switches from Ibrox expired but is planning further additions as he plots an unlikely escape act.
But Storie will not be able to make his debut in Saturday's Paisley clash with Queen of the South, as his move will only go through the following day.
That means it will be the January 14 trip to Dunfermline before the 20-year-old will be able to make his Saints bow.
Ross told St Mirren's official website: "We feel like we needed a player in that area of the pitch and Craig is someone who I've admired as a player for quite a while.
"We've watched him several times and we're delighted to have him on board until the end of the season."
