Turkey join UK and Ireland in bid for Euro 2028

All bids must be submitted by 5PM on Wednesday

The Turkish Football Federation have announced that they will compete with the UK and Ireland to host Euro 2028.

An official statement from the federation read, "The Turkish Football Federation has made an official candidacy application to UEFA for the 2028 European Football Championship finals to be held in Turkey."

The country has never held the Euro's and rejected the chance to host the finals of Euro 2020 after losing to France in their bid to host the 2016 competition.

UEFA will decide on who will host the tournament in September 2023 after each country submits their proposals for the competition.
