Woman and toddler in hospital after found injured in Edinburgh street
A woman and toddler have been taken to hospital after being found injured on a city street.
They were found on Stenhouse Street West in Edinburgh at around 4.30am on Thursday.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A 35-year-old woman and 22-month-old were found injured in the street.
"Both were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment. However, at this time it is not thought that either has sustained life-threatening injuries.
"Inquiries into the full circumstances surrounding this incident are ongoing."
It is understood that police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the case.
