Woman sexually assaulted by cyclist in Edinburgh
Police are hunting a cyclist who sexually assaulted a woman and caused another alarm.
The man on a bicycle inappropriately touched the 31-year-old woman who was running along a cycle path on Ferry Road, Edinburgh, after approaching her and asking her a question.
The incident happened at around 1.20pm on Tuesday.
Shortly afterwards at around 1.45pm, he approached another 31-year-old woman as she was cycling on a nearby cycle path at Goldenacre.
Police Scotland said the woman was left feeling alarmed'' after he tried to engage her in conversation.
Detective Sergeant Jennifer Priestley said: We're currently following a positive line of inquiry in connection with these incidents.
However, we'd urge anyone who may have witnessed these or saw suspicious behaviour in the area to get in touch with us as soon as possible.'
