Woman seriously injured in Arthur's Seat fall

A woman has been left seriously injured after falling on Edinburgh's Arthur's Seat.

The visitor fell near St Anthony's Chapel at the iconic landmark just after 1pm. She sustained serious leg injuries.

Emergency services managed to reach her by 2pm and she was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
