Woman found dead at flat in Edinburgh as police seal the area
The death in the Barn Park area is being treated as unexplained
POLICE are investigating the unexplained death of a woman after her body was discovered this morning.
The gruesome find was made in a flat in the Barn Park area of Edinburgh just after 11am.
It’s reported six vehicles were in the area which was sealed off as an investigation was mounted in what happened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 11.10am on Sunday, 3 March, to a report of a death at a property in the Barn Park area of Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended and a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
