Woman Dies After Inferno In Edinburgh Flat
A woman has died after a fire in a ground floor flat.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at 1.10am on Thursday at the property in Ferry Road, Edinburgh.
A woman was removed from the building and taken away in an ambulance, the fire service said.
She was pronounced dead shortly after.
An investigation is under way to determine the cause of the fire.
