WATCH: Roll-out of drug service in East Lothian could save hundreds
The roll-out of a drug support service to areas of East Lothian could save hundreds of lives.
NHS Lothian is to branch out its Substance Misuse Service to areas of the region like North Berwick, Tranent and Dunbar.
It will provide one-on-one support for addicts in areas were a service of that kind is not currently available.
It's hoped it could be rolled out at the end of this month and help around 250 people.
Laura Grant is a support worker at the group after being saved from her own heroin addiction.
