WATCH: Kezia Dugdale on her decision to join I'm a Celebrity
Former Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale has claimed she's appearing on I'm a Celebrity to talk to young people across the UK about politics.
The Lothian MSP has released a video recorded before she jetted off to Australia addressing her decision to join the reality show for the first time.
The news attracted controversy when it broke on Saturday - the same day as her successor in the party's top job was announced.
It means she'll miss up to three weeks in parliament but she's insisted she'll donate her MSP salary for that time to charity.
Labour revealed yesterday that Ms Dugdale won't be suspended from the party even though she didn't get permission to go to the jungle.
She'll be interviewed when she returns though to give her version of events.
