WATCH: Fame after viral video shot in Edinburgh
Danny MacAskill became an overnight internet sensation 10-years-ago.
It's 10-years since a video shot in Edinburgh turned a Scottish stunt cyclist into an internet sensation.
Danny MacAskill's celebrity career kicked off after a video of the mountain biker doing tricks in the city went viral.
Since then he's had over 300-MILLION plays on YouTube, but he has the capital to thank for his celebrity success.
He told our senior reporter Bryan Rutherford: "There was jumping off the side of the National Gallery onto this kind of copper ledge and then falling about 12-feet into a bank down into Princes Street Gardens, and we had passers-by looking over the edge checking I'm still alive."
"The first-ever video ended up getting a couple of million views in a few days, and that made the news, and it was the most watched sports video on YouTube for a number of years.
"It was such a shock to have news outlets from all over the world trying to get me on, and the Ellen DeGeneres Show."
Bryan interrupted: "What was it like being on her show?"
Danny replied: "I actually turned it down. They wanted me to dress up as her and go around the streets of Chicago, and I was like: 'who is Ellen DeGeneres?'
