WATCH: Edinburgh woman urges men who mocked her disability to come forward
Last updated 6th Jun 2019
An Edinburgh woman is urging a group of young men who mocked her disability on board a flight to come forward and apologise.
Julie Coghill from Gilmerton was flying from Edinburgh to Palma last July when she suffered the abuse.
It happened after she told a group of young men to stop swearing infront of children she was with. They then teased her about her visual impairment.
Police Scotland recorded the incident as a hate crime but no further action was taken. The group has never been traced.
She now wants closure on the distressing incident and is urging them to get in touch and apologise.
