It's been a controversial change, but just how much of a difference is there between old and new Irn Bru?

The new lower sugar version hits the shops later this month and it'll replace the original.

It more than halves the sugar content, but what does that mean for the taste?

Forth News has managed to get hold of the new recipe Irn Bru.

Our reporter Hope Webb took some out onto the streets of Edinburgh to see if people could tell the difference between that and the old drink...

Creator AG Barr claims that their testing showed that 9 out of 10 people found the new recipe to be a "good or excellent match."

But not all fans are convinced with a petition against the move attracting more than 43,000 signatures.
