WATCH: A befriending journey begins

All this week as part of our #TakeTheTime campaign, we've been encouraging you to help tackle loneliness across Scotland by becoming a befriender.
Today we're following the journey of a new befriender as they meet the vulnerable person they'll be supporting.
20-year old Emma Coupar signed up to help after her gran passed away last year. She has been paired with June Colligan, 76, who has no family and says she has felt more and more isolated as she grows older.
The pair plan to spend time with each other once a week, but our reporter Hazel Martin was there when the two ladies met for the first time.
