A 14-year-old girl from Edinburgh is desperately trying to raise nearly £250,000 in three weeks in order to pay for life-saving cancer treatment.

Kira Noble has been battling neuroblastoma - a rare form of cancer - for the last three years and has endured multiple rounds of chemo and operations.

Sadly, despite best medical efforts it was not possible to remove a growing tumour during a major operation in January 2018. Doctors here in the UK are no longer able to treat her.

Now Kira's best hope is life-saving surgery in the USA, performed by a world-renowned surgeon who specialises in the most difficult to remove tumours. The hope is that the operation can take place at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York next month.
