Voting is set to close in the contest to be the SNP's new depute leader.

Four candidates are in the running for the post, with the election held after Stewart Hosie stood down from the job amid allegations about his private life.

SNP Westminster leader Angus Robertson, fellow MP Tommy Sheppard, MEP Alyn Smith and Inverclyde councillor Chris McEleny have all put themselves forward for the role.

SNP members have until 2pm on Wednesday to return their ballot, with the results of the election due to be announced at the party's conference in Glasgow on Thursday.
