Forth News is lifting the lid on human trafficking after being given exclusive access to a Scotland-wide police crackdown.

As part of anti-slavery day we joined officers and HMRC and immigration officials who targeted nail bars, car washes and construction sites to identify people at risk.

Police Scotland is hailing the operation a success, saying they identified a number of individuals as potentially being at risk from human trafficking.

In addition a number of people have been detained in connection with the operation.

At a nail bar in Kirkcaldy. a number of Vietnamese men spoke of being paid a pittance in exchange for cramped accommodation with some not receiving any wages at all.
