An Edinburgh woman has spoken of her fear for family in Ukraine as Russia launch an invasion of the country.

The Prime Minister has said the UK will "not look away".

Linda Alison's father was born in Ukraine, but came to Scotland following the Second World War.

He was unable to return due to fear of Russia.

He and other Ukrainians set up the Edinburgh Ukrainian Club. The community still has over 100 members in the city.

Mrs Alison told Radio Forth News that her family in Ukraine live just kilometres from a military air base which they say was bombed.
