Two men seriously injured in late-night East Lothian crash as police launch appeal
Two men have been seriously injured after a late-night crash on the A1 between Old Craighall and Fort Kinnaird.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 10.55pm on Friday night after a white Vauxhall Mokka left the road.
The men, aged 46 and 43, were rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries.
The road was shut for several hours while crash investigators carried out enquiries, before reopening around 3.15am on Saturday.
Police Scotland is now appealing for witnesses and drivers with dash-cam footage to come forward.
Sergeant Dave Waddell said: “Our enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this crash and I would appeal to any witnesses to please contact police."
