Two men arrested after attempted murder in Edinburgh hit-and-run

Two men have been arrested following an attempted murder in Edinburgh.

Police were called to Lochend Drive around 9.50pm on Tuesday, 3 February, after reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.

Emergency services attended and the injured man was taken to hospital for treatment.

The vehicle involved failed to stop at the scene.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with attempted murder.

A 35-year-old man has also been arrested in connection with attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Police say enquiries are ongoing.
