Two Due In Court Over Drugs Charges

A 54-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man are due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Monday 24th November 2014, in connection with drugs supply offences. Their appearance follows a motor vehicle being stopped on the A71 near to Polbeth and subsequent enforcements of Misuse of Drugs Act search warrants in the West Lothian area, in which three kilos of cocaine with a street value in excess of £150,000 was discovered. This was in connection with addresses in Mid and West Lothian that were previously searched where a further £53,000 worth of cocaine and drugs equipment were recovered.
