Two charged in West Lothian drugs find inquiry
They're due in court today.
Two people have been charged after police found thousands of pounds worth of drugs at properties in West Lothian.
Officers carried out searches at two addresses in Townhead Gardens, Whitburn, and Polbeth Road, Polbeth, near Livingston, on Monday and recovered amphetamine, heroin and cocaine worth about £350,000.
A 32-year-old man and 29-year-old woman have been charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act, police said.
Detective Inspector Paul Batten said: This is a huge quantity of extremely harmful substances that has been seized before it could be distributed within the West Lothian communities.
