Two charged after man hit by car at Edinburgh shopping centre
Two men aged 28 are due at Edinburgh Sheriff Court following the incident at Westside Plaza on Thursday
Two men have been charged after an alleged hit and run at a shopping centre in Edinburgh.
A 45-year-old man was knocked down in the incident at Westside Plaza in the Wester Hailes area of the city at about 9.30am on Thursday.
The man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Police said that two men, both 28, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
They will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A report will now be forwarded to the procurator fiscal.
