Two Car Crash Leaves Three Injured

Three people have been taken to hospital after a two-car crash near a reservoir in West Lothian.

One of the casualties, a 22-year-old man, is in a serious condition following the collision yesterday morning.

The incident happened on the A70 near Harperrig reservoir, south of Kirknewton.

A Seat Ibiza travelling west and an eastbound Skoda Octavia were involved in the collision, which happened at about 8.15am.

Police Scotland said the 22-year-old man driving the Seat was taken by ambulance to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, where his condition is described as serious but stable.

Paramedics also took the 20-year-old male driver of the Skoda and his male passenger, whose age has not been revealed, to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

Police want to speak to anyone who was in the area and who may have seen the cars before the collision.
