Travel warning as thousands set to join orange walks in Scotland
A travel warning has been issued as marches are set to take place all over Scotland.
A travel warning has been issued as thousands of people are set to march through the streets of Scotland in orange walks this weekend.
Police are advising the marches could caused disruption and drivers should plan ahead of their journeys.
Over 7,600 people are expected to join parades in Glasgow alone and it's thought there could be 42 separate parades across the city.
Walks are also set to take place in Kilmarnock and Cumbernauld.
South Ayrshire Police have tweeted to remind travellers or disruption:
One of the biggest parades in Glasgow is set to leave George Square at 10.35am with over 4,000 people taking part.
The route is as follows: George Square South, St Vincent Place, St Vincent Street, Hope Street, West George Street, Nelson Mandela Place, West George Street, George Square North, George Street, High Street, Glasgow Cross, Saltmarket, Glasgow Green.
