A new trampoline park in Dalkeith has closed after a spate of accidents but Ryze Edinburgh and Midlothian Council insist the move is because of licensing issues. The Ryze trampoline park, which has only been open for three weeks, has temporarily shut to visitors. The centre in Mayfield has reported more than 100 accidents - including several people breaking bones - but this is said to be fairly normal for trampolining and is set against a figure of more than 25,000 people visiting the attraction since it opened. Midlothian Council confimed the venue had applied for an indoor sports entertainment licence which is currently being processed. They say Ryze is closed because it was operating without a licence rather than on safety grounds.
