Time wasted in Edinburgh's traffic jams will cost motorists £2.8bn by 2025, according to a new study.
Transport information company Inrix identified more than 20,000 congestion pinch points in 21 cities across the country. They analysed the average duration, length and frequency of the hold-ups in September.
Edinburgh ranked the worst in Scotland, and is only second in the UK to London.
The A720 westbound City Bypass at Dreghorn Barracks was identified as the worst stretch of road for congestion in Edinburgh.
In Glasgow, traffic will cost driver £2.3bn in the same period of time. The Eastbound junction of the A8 was named as a congestion hotspot also.
