Tourist who disappeared in mysterious circumstances in Edinburgh found

A Finnish tourist who went missing ten days ago has been found safe.

Riina Elisabeth Sjogren, 38, had last been seen on Tuesday January 9 in York Place, Edinburgh.

She had earlier left Edinburgh Airport after buying a plane ticket she did not use and abandoning her belongings, and travelled back into the city.

Police said she was found safe at around 9am on Friday, January 19, in the city's Palmerston Place
