Police are appealing for information after a till was stolen from a business in Livingston

A till has been stolen from a business in Livingston, as Police appeal for information over the break-in.

The incident is said to have happened around 1am on Monday morning (October 31).

Entry was gained to a business premises in Livingston village.

The first suspect is described as a man, around 5ft 8in in height, of slim build. He was wearing a dark jacket with the hood up and dark trousers.

The second suspect is described as a man, 5ft 8in in height, of slim build. He was wearing a black jacket with a white cross on the chest, he had the hood up and a black face mask on.

Detective Constable Laura Hanlon said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or observed two man matching the description to get in touch.

“I would also ask anyone in the area to check any dashcam footage or private CCTV and contact us if they believe they can assist.”
